Introduction
The purpose of this assignment is to help you prepare source material for your final writing project. You will be writing an 8 page paper on a topic related to the course.
Annotated Bibliography
You are required to include at least 5 annotated sources. Each annotation should be 300-500 words.
Guidelines for Annotations:
- Bibliographic Information: Provide enough details for easy source retrieval, including author(s), title, and publication date. Pick a format (MLA, APA, …) and stick with it. I recommend you use a reference manager like Zotero, but it’s not required.
- Summary of the Source: Summarize the main points of the source material.
- Relevance to Your Topic: Explain how the source is relevant to your chosen topic.
- Strengths and Weaknesses: Discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the source. This can include intrinstic strengths and weaknesses about the material itself, or limitations of the author’s perspective, author bias, etc.
Additional Points to Consider:
- How does this source connect with other readings?
Write your annotations in paragraph form.
